Line & Shape
In my last photo I took it at the high school right after practice when the sky was at its golden point. This image has a lot of puffy clouds which gives it texture, and the street gives the image lines. When taking this photo I was far from it, and I took it straight on. My photo was taken horizontal. I did not use the rule of thirds while taking this photo. This photo is a dynamic composition, which leads the viewers eye directly through the image.
Line and Pattern
My best photo is my black and white chairs because it shows repetition the best out of all the photos. The distance for this image was pretty far since it was in the library and I was standing outside by the window to snap the shot. My point of view for this image was straight on. My photo was taken vertical. This photo does not follow the rule of thirds because there are many chairs in the image, which causes there to be not real center point. The chairs image is an example of pattern because there are many chairs in this one picture and the chairs show repetition. The second photo on the ground of the cement at the school seems to be the whitest part of that photo. My fifth black and white image with the school and the tree could possibly be over exposed. The tree seems to be the darkest part of that photo. The best image with proper exposer is my first image of the lilac flower because it has some dark parts and some lighter parts to even out the image.
Playgrounds & Power lines
My last image best shows the rule of thirds because the 3 power lines fall in a straight line on the right. The photo that best shows distance is my fifth image because the power lines are more off into the distance than my other photos. My second image best shows positive and negative space and shapes because of the different wood and the slides of the image are darker than underneath the playground. My fifth image guides and leads the viewers yes through the work because it has the most going on in it, which makes it pop. My last picture best satisfies the assignment because it shows rules of thirds within the power lines. The best image in black and white with proper exposer is my fourth image because it shows balance between light and darker spots.
